I have a feiago 7xl motor and want to know how much better a leopard 4074 would be if there is not alot of difference?and im going to put it in a detla force 29 mono

Joe I think most would say the leopard is a slightly better quality, but the feigao should do well. What prop and cell count are you considering?

You will find the Leopard to be a much better choice, especially for a Mono... the Feigao motor is only a 2-pole, vs. 4-pole for the Leapard. If you read the specs, you'll see the Leapard is rated for more watts, etc.

Feigao 7XL:

Motor Specs:

6-24 NiMh or 2s to 6s Lipo cells in a medium to large sized mono or hydro.

1000 Watts Maximum with proper cooling.

35.8mm dia x 75mm long

5mm Output Shaft. Use 5mm Couplers.

372 grams

Up to 1000 watts of power with proper cooling.

50,000 rpm bearings!

Aluminum Purple Anodized Casing

2-Pole Neo Magnets & Compressed Windings.

Mounting screw holes are 25mm apart on center.

3mm mounting screws.

Leopard 4074

Specs:

Magnets: neodymium

Watts: 1500 with Over 2000 Burst.

Poles: 4

Motor Shaft: 5mm with flat spot

Can Measures: 40mm diameter x 74mm long

Weight: 375 Grams

Mounting screw diameter required: 3mm

Mounting Holes 25mm apart for use with most 540 mounts.

EDIT: Darin Beat me to it, got distracted from my post.
