BROWARD MODEL BOAT CLUB'S FIRST ONE DAY RACE!!!

Hello all, I am proud to announce that on Sunday September 22nd the Broward Model Boat Club will be hosting its first one day club race and we welcome all to come and race with us. We will be offering all class’s including RTR.

Three boat minimum to make a class except for RTR and Junior racers.

The entry fee is $10 per boat and you can sign up by sending me an email at [email protected] When sending me an email please specify what class you would like to run and channel you will be using.

We will have are monthly meeting first starting at 8:30am and then drivers meeting at 9:30am and racing starts promptly at 10:00am.

Come and have some fun and we will have membership forms for those who would like to join.

Blew the rust out! Lol. Nice to have the first race under our belt. A great place to start building. It may take a few more months to get the numbers we want at these(November and December have always been historically tuff on turn out). But lots of enthusiasm. Remember member lake with chase boat is available everyday after 10 am.

Robert. Try and make it out there on a wknd when some of us are out there we can help you A LOT MORE in 1 hour then we did today.

1 of the things I really like about these local 1 day races is.....u get a chance under race conditions to make adjustments and try things you make not have tried at a more expensive event. Really makes you better.

Also. Pretty sure there were no wrecks. And some really good driving. Just because some of these people don't travel doesn't mean they don't spend hours running their stuff and it shows.

Jeremy, thanks for all the efforts it's great to have new and motivated blood in this.
