Hey Charles,Norris has built his own boat also since the 70s and also calls his BOSS. Both boats are fine boats,Norris used to be a fine racer with good equipment from CINCY.....Mike

I thought I made it quite clear who made the boat. Looks like the name 'Boss' was originated by Norris Sparks since he used to race in the 70's and 80's. Thanks for the clarification Mike.

I thought I made it quite clear who made the boat. Looks like the name 'Boss' was originated by Norris Sparks since he used to race in the 70's and 80's. Thanks for the clarification Mike.

Mike, Norris build a Boss 20 Hydro also. Great little boat. Very light & fast boat. Ran exceptionally well with a stk .21 engine.. I`am sure the 40 is the same era.

Mike, I would to see picture of boat, to make sure it is one I built.

If it is, it has to have a hard shaft in it.

I have not built a 40 boat for anybody past the late 80's.

Used to fly control line Rat race airplanes, that was called boss rats, so I started

calling my boats ,boss boats.
