just got a 2 air pump flow meter with a sphygmomanometer gage

would like any info on this flow meter I can get an

the 6 cell 2000mah battery will not hold a charge any more

can I change it out with a 2 cell lipo or

what is the best rout to go with

Marty

Boris can update it for you, Marty. I do know that the lipo conversions get a voltage regulator when he does them. Boris will prolly give you the info to update yourself. Or, just replace the NiMH's with more of the same.....my NiMH 2 pump meter will go all weekend tuning 4 .21's, no problem (-;. Does it still have the instruction sheet inside the lid? Keep the same hose/tubing with the meter, changing the hose from the meter to the engine CAN change your readings!! I always flow the fuel filter along with the needle & carb. That way, if the meter shows leaner all of the sudden, it could be a sign of a clogged fuel filter (-;. Once you get a boat dialed in, TRUST the meter - they work, IMHO. Just be consistent, flow each boat the same way every time. Changing anything can (& prolly will) change your readings.

it does have instructions in the lid

what is a fully charged 6cell nimh pack top out at 8.5?

looks like the large fuel tubing 17" long

good point about the fuel filter

thank you for the info moparbran

It is a lot of benefit to upgrade your flow meter to GEN-4 with sensitivity to air conditions change and run time up to 300 min. Boris
