Well the garage has been ignored for too long. Cleaning it out from top to bottom. I have a few boats that are just sitting. Was saving for the kids, but they have no interest. You can see the pics at this link.
1. prather 3.5 mono - This boat has a chop top. The top cut down about 1.5 to give it a lower CG. A new top was made by Mark Anderson. It was a lite lay up. That is why you see the paint has chipped in areas. Comes with mounts, rudder, servos, third channel, tank, drive line, trim tabs, stand, and turn fin. $100 + shipping
2. XTR-21 tunnel - Boat comes with servos, linkages, tank, prather adjustable mount, and stand. It had some damage on the nose of the boat. It was crushed in. I have redone the inside of it with epoxy and glass. It is now stronger than the original. Also has some damage to the cowl, that was hastly fix at the lake. $75 = shipping
3. XTR-21 wood frames - At one point, you were not able to get the XTR-21. I got the idea to measure the bottom of the boat and build one out of wood. So that is what I did. I inverted the boat and built a jig to take all the measurement from. These were then transfered to paper to build templates of the bulk heads. After that the rest was simple. I lost interest so the project sat. Not too long after that the boat was available again. This would be a nice project for someone that like to build wood boats. You need to build two more chine stringers for the sponson. Easy to do. Just copy the ones I already built. Also one of the frames is a little short up near the radio box area. I ran out of ply. This can be lengthen easy with a patch piece. $25 + shipping SOLD to Lohring
4. Hot Shot Sprint 21 wood hull - Needs right sponson repair. New sheeting to fix it. Comes with servos, linkages, stand, and tank. Forgot to take pictures of it. $25
