Here we go......... It's that time again.........
I am getting prepaired to start my winter build season and again I am offering the BlackJack21 hydro in a complete kit.
All the wood is built, all the hardware is included. I build all the hardware exclusively for this kit. A few items are getting minimized, along with a few new features, but otherwise the kit will remain unchanged.
The new features are:
A boom mount for the third channel needle of your choice. I currently build a mount for the Russian/CMD needle and the OS In-Flight needle ass'y. If you have something else in mind, I'll have to see what I can come up with.
A 90 degree fuel fitting for the MAC21 carb, if applicable. This is the same fitting I have offered for sale in the past.
Cosmetically, the wood work will be flawless, to the best of my ability, with no sand-through areas and nice, sharp edges. Dimensionally, everything is built off templates, using pins to locate them to the workpiece. I bring my machine trades professional skills into my wood work, ensuring accuracy and consistancy.
The hardware is built with all the care to dimension and details that I use when building missile and space shuttle parts at work. It doesn't take much for me to consider a part to be scrap, and the customer will never see it. An extra set of sponson stubs and boom tubes are also included.
Both Walt Barney and Mike Z make a tank that fits right in.
Price is $750, same as last year. Extra sets of front sponsons will be $125 each.
