The Jackson Tennessee Model Boat Club will be putting on a memorial race to honor Mr. Bill McGraw this spring. The proposed race date will be Memorial Day weekend, the 29th and 30th of May.

This will be a very special race for a lot of reasons. Put this race on your "Must Attend" race list.

Mark Hopper is the new, once again, club president. The race entry flyer and additional information will be posted later.

Well well, Looks like Jax may be on the come back trail with some New Leadership, with Mark Hopper Richard Johnsey & Mike Schindler in the tower the race will be Fast & Furious & called from the start, Just the way we like`em.... Maybe the Knox city boys can bring some Competition into Town?? I will step forward & sponsor a Very Nice Twin Award & F Mono Award for the event. jw

This is great!! only talked to Bill maybe a dozen times or so and met him twice at Huntsville but I can sayhe was a very nice hearted guy.already got two new boats in the making,but I think maybe an f- mono might be in order

for this special event.I can just about guarantee the Knoxville gang will join together and make the trip and would help out in any way.

Make sure you do not publish an open ended flyer. Write the specific categories to be offered in the flyer. Offer LSG categories, Thunderboats, etc. The Knoxville Gang is mostly gassers(weedeaters). Advertise this race in JRCBD also. For many people Memorial day is usually for going to the beach. You might consider weekend before or after MD. We owe attendance to this race to Mr. Bill.

I know the Missouri Boys are on here Reading / Looking forward to the 2010 Racing Season. Is Memorial day weekend a good weekend for the MO boys to Leave Home & Race R/C boats? With the Evansville club, Knoxville Mafia, Alabama Gang... ( all 2 of them ) Indy speedsters & a few more Alabama/Tennessee/Mississippi/Missouri Regulars it could be a Great race for attendance... This area has some FAST Nitro/GAS boats! We welcome all! lets ROCK the DOCK in JAX TN in 2010.
