Ho folks...Could anyone help me please? I have a 3PMX Futaba radio and will be using it to power a gas scale boat. What battery do I need here? I keep getting conflicting stories. I'm using a large scale servo for the rudder. The only thing I know is the receiver needs a 6V...but other than that I need help with. thanks Norm

A 1600 mah 6 volt nimh battery or 6.6 volt Life of about 1500 mah or more will be more than enough to ensure all day use and the life probably 4 or more days without any risk of low battery. Best to charge or at least check the voltage(with a loa applied if possible)before each days running.

Personally I run 2500mah 6V Nimh packs and don't recommend going under 2000 especially on a bigger boat running 1/4 scale servos. I can get through 3 day races without recharge. :)
