I got a boris mazor starter and a zippy 4s 4200 life battery. the battery conectors and the starter connectors are not compatible. what are you guys using to hook them up and what are you using for charge leads for a hyperion charger

I put Deans connectors on all my big batteries Chris. They seem to be the first choice for car guys. Work great!

well I figured that the starter or the battery would come with connectors, not. the battery has #10 wire so I bought some castle connectors, and some silicone wire to match up, and to make a charge lead

Pick a connector and go with it. Deans are good for about 60 amps but can be a bit of a PITA to solder. Eflite EC5 are bullets that slide into a plastic plug and this will help keep your polarity correct. They are also easier to solder than Deans. You can also purchase Castle bullets and use different color heat shrink to keep the polarity correct. Most FE guys will put the female bullet on the + side of the batteries and male on the -. You have to put caps on the packs when not in use because there is still chance the wires can touch. With the EC5 plugs, this is not a problem. I use EC3's and EC5's on all my airplane stuff but need the larger bullets on my boats because they draw much more amps. What ever connector you go with, just get a set of bare Hyperion leads and throw the same type plug/bullets on it.
