I just received my Bantom .12 rigger from Drew. THANKS again! Well I was wondering if anyone had pictures of one set up? What are the little triangle doublers for? How is the turn fin spar supposed to be attached? Thanks again and Drew you rock!

I put small threaded inserts into the 1/8 ply inside wall on the sponson. 4-40's will do fine. 6's ok too. It looked like the rear sponsons were not complete. I think that is where the extra parts you see are from. Build a center ski and give that a try instead of adding the rears. Plus the rears are kind of tough get right on that boat. I designed that boat a long time ago. It's one of the first Bantam kits. Set the AOA around 4-5 degs, set the strut flat to the table with the flat part of the bottom of the tub level to the table. If you make steps on the sponson bottoms like shingles it will be easier to launch. run the 1440 back cut,.. it will run well.
