Look at the new Pics in my bantam .12 gallery.

Come on guys,.. build a .12 rigger. you won't be sorry... plus you might be the first one to win the Masters "A" hydro race!!!

Nice pond! Really, some closer shots of the boat at speed would be better. Immediately head back out as we have a lot of sunshine right now. Cold, yes, but still a great day for shooting pix.

Oh yeah, answer your phone once in a while. :) I tried calling you several times the other day and got the message.

Are you planning on running in the HydroMasters this year in .12 class I know Tony is and I am thinking on bringing 2 boats I will run my Rattler and I will be bringing the bantum for Mark to run.Thats enough to run the class all we need is three more to get the green jacket to come into play.It will be good to get back to Indy and see my buddies Stu and Bruce.

Anthony, I found your Bantam pics when I looked in the right place. Sweet little

2 1/4 pound rigger. What nitro % are you runnin with air cooled?

Yeah,.. I'm sure your turning that v947 at at least 35000... your going to have to do something about the heat build up on the leading edges of that hull!!!!

Ran that thing today too... Didn't go nearly as well... man I don't know if it's the time of year and the weather but man,... it's a real tricky thing to get it to run consistantly...

It was getting a bit windy and choppy while it was running. It was starting to look like on of those bombs they used to drop that skipped across the top of the water...

Anyway,.. yesterday sure was a lot better than today.... I think I'm going to take that engine apart and clean and inspect it. I'm using a digital postage scale to mix my fuel by weight... I made some fresh before I went out today. I wonder how accurate that scale is...

Oh yeah,

I'm running the OS TZ12 with light mods. 60% home brew fuel, Mark Sholund 1440 backcut and pitched to about 3.1. macs 10-15 pipe, Solinger hardware......... uhhh that's it...

I rreally think there is alot more to be gotten out of this boat. I don't think it's running at near it's potential..

I really need to get some help from you guys...

Anthony,

Where do we start? Look at your strut weight, afterplane length, motor alignment, etc.

I could go on and on,but this will give you somethings to start looking at your set up.

From what I saw in the picture you are losing quite a few RPM with your misaligned

motor and driveline set up. These motors need to be set up correctly. How big is your

carb ? And what pipe length are you running? Sorry to hear about your beaching.

Good Luck,

I didn't hear the phone ring? :D

The mis alignment with the shaft has been corrected. I'll give you a call.

never know, you might see a BLACKBIRD 12 at the hydromasters.

chris
"Nope" NO BIRDS AT THE HYDRO MASTERS!

New rules say if you won the the year before you're not allowed to compete the following year.

Anthony,

I think we're attracting to much attention.

Yeah,... I think my big mouth may haev gotten me WAY out classed in the A hydro arena.

I think it's getting even more important for me to get your input. My rigger is having reliability problems.
