Been working on the Bantam .12 a little more often as of late, Got some of the CF work done, needs the skin cut out for it now, then epoxy will be applied! Im doing the engine mock up with one of John Knight's CMB 21-RS motors, Might run her for a while with that engine to get it dialed in.

You cant go wrong with Anthony's hulls, Mine came as a work of art... Now its just down to stuffing it full of CF sheet and sending it down the traps :)

holly sh_t that's a tight fit!!!!!

If anyone is interested I'll be starting a build in a few weeks. There are a few people in the que, but there will be more available.

Id like to buy a spare tub frame minus the skin and a set of shoes and sponsons minus the skin, Its ok plating the skin with cf like im doing now, but id rather sheet my next Bantam with cf... This hull will be my weapon of choice from now on for the .12 heat and .21 SAW class riggers.

Email me and we'll talk about how to do that...

That sound sounds great but there is a little problem. The way the boat is built, the skins are crucial to the building process. The best way to do this might be for one of to send the drawings to one of the CF sheet suppliers and have them cut the skins and bulk heads from the drawings. then I could use those parts and then complete the build. The sponsons might be a little more difficult. The "exact shape of the outside sheeting is done "on the sponson" so to speak.

I've been thinking of doing this for a while now. I was even working with a CF vendor. They lost interest cause I didn't have much money to spend.

We should talk and find a way to make this really right..

Well its clear on how to do that... I send you $130 or so and you send me the boat minus skin :)

I have a good supplier here that has me on a sales plan, Also have access to a flowjet that can cut the parts for us. Email me if you want to do this.
