Al,
Many (well some) have already signed up at RCRACINGEVENTS.com.
Al is correct stating racers are welcome to come the morning of race day if not preregistered. The Badgers that attended the D4 Championship this weekend discussed this option, as well as maybe making some "open classes" if there weren't enough boats in a certain class. It will be the racers discretion and has worked at other D4 races this year. No racer will be denied racing if at all possible.
We like the pre-registration process, but it seems like many people don't decide until last few days what boats they want to race and lost out of some racing this season. In promoting the hobby, we want everyone to be able to show up and race at the Turkey Shoot.
(Race day registration may be a little rusty since we haven't done it for a few years)
This is the last Badgers race for the year and is supposed to be a "fun" race and not so"serious". It is the last time many racers from different clubs will see each other until spring and the last time many will have a pond to run at this year.
So D4 racers, lets race. (anyone from D14 or elsewhere is welcome too) Only 60 miles north of Chicago.
Thanks,
Duke
