Hello all,
It is that time again to begin the boating season. The Badger Model Boat Club will be holding the first event of the season on May 19, 2019. 30 different classes are available!
NEW- We are welcoming the addition of the Stock Gas Cat class at this race! Please be aware that the engine specifications will follow the Thunderboat class specs. The hull design must follow IMPBA rules.
NEW! this year is that this is a one day event. 3 rounds of racing.
Saturday May 18th is open water from noon until 5pm. There will be a pit gathering this year OPEN TO ALL! from 6pm to 9pm, but simply bring your own food and drink. We will have several grills available and a covered eating area. Camping is allowed but no hookups so bring your generator.
VERY IMPORTANT - we have switched to Racemastersevents.com this year to host our registrations so please signup for an account there and register early! By registering early, other racers can get a handle on what classes will run! You wont have to pay until race day if you just want to register, choose the "Pay by mail" option. If you sign up a boat and have to change it or scratch it before the close of registration, simply email Dave Halverson at [email protected] and let him know what changes need to be made.
Attached is the flyer and informational sheet you will need to register.
