Avenger w/ .90

Hello fellas...

What's a good pipe length to start with on an Avenger Pro with an OPS 90 using the standard unsilenced pipe (5270)?

Also any suggestions on what's a good prop to start with?

I'm guessing that 20-30% nitro would be good for the 90.

I'm not looking to race the boat, just looking for a good setup to bash around with from time to time when momma lets me out of the house...

Please help a noob out...

The X472 will be a bit big for 30% nitro. I'd say X467. That will make tuning much easier and you'll have more fun. The 265 is a good choice too. It has a .187" bore where as the X467 has a .250" bore.

Once the engine is all broke in, what's about the average sport tuned speed that I could expect from it? Just looking for a number that'll let me know I'm in the ballbark with the tuneup...
