Hello everybody .

This is a message from Australia . Next month , on the 6th , 7th , 8th. the Model Boat Club of N.S.W. Inc. based at Penrith near Sydney is holding it's Annual Winter Spectacular Race Meeting which includes the Silver Cup in the 1 /8 Scale Boat class . In addition there will be a perpetual trophy awarded which is called the Roger Newton Memorial Cup for Concourse .

Lucky bastard, when we have winter there is snow, ice and temperature below zero degrees Celsius! :lol:
 
Hello everybody .

MrUnlimited , over at Penrith at that time of year it does get quite cold - but I haven't seen any snow out there yet . It's usually very fresh early in the day and turns out reasonable - 15 Celsius ,so long as there isn't too much wind or rain about . And this year I believe we have 7 or 8 boats competeing for the Silver Cup .

Hello everybody .

It's this coming weekend that the Winter Dpectacular is being held at Penrith near Sydney / Australia and according to the entry list , there are 8 boats entered in the Scale Boat class competeing for the Silver Cup and the Roger Newton Memorial Trophy for Concourse in 1 / 8 Scale as well.

Hello everybody .

Over in the General Boating Forum section , murph has put sone pictures in his post called Pics from Winter Spec. and a bit further on Justin " Grub " Antoni has listed the results of the Winter Spectacular which was held last weekend .
