Have a few boats, RC sail that were part of Bob Johnson's collection.

I know NOTHING about sailboats, so any help would be great.

One is a Soling 1meter built and has been sailed

One is a "Bob's Boatyard Viper hull, (much bigger that the Soling) Built and has been sailed.

and one of each of the above that are not built, The Viper hulls are Kevlar layup and the unbuilt hull is VERY light

Any help on the value of these would be greatly appreciated.

I did play and raced a Soling and US12 class sail boats. Viper not sure of.

The Soling if it's ready to sail with servos pending on shape. I'd say $400-$600 with CARR sails.

I'll send PM with phone number to chat.

As much as I enjoy full scale sailing ( Thistle, Flying Dutchman & Windmills - smaller high performance planing hulls), I have never tried rc sailing. I might be interested in the Soling kit RRRick, what brand kit is it? LMK when you figure out a value. Got any pics?

The Soling was manufactured by Vortec(or something like that) in Santa Barbara, CA. I sailed a Soling at the second NAMBA Nats in Seattle. I lead the event in having infractions called.

On occasion, I'll enter my T-37 sailboat at regattas in the Seattle area. I've won national championships racing nitro boats, but I absolutely suck when it comes to racing a sailboat.

It's Victor, JD. I did a little research, they are the only company that make it. It is a one design class (sailboat for spec class), & as such is very tightly regulated. To be sure that ALL the boats meets the design specs, they are all made by just one manufacturer. Is it an ABS hull, RRRick?
