i just bought my son this boat can some one recommend the batterys and charger to get for this and which metal prop to get and maybe some hop ups for this boat thanks shane

I'd contact Steven at Offshoreelectrics and see what he has for sport level batteries and chargers.

I run Elite 5350 LiPos and you'll get the best performance with LiPo cells. Since the esc doesn't have a LiPo compatable low volage cut off, you need to monitor power consumption and either time your runs or install a stand alone low voltage cutoff to safely run LiPos.

Yes, the stock SV 27 IS lipo ready. 4s2p is what i run in mine.
