Why? ... What happened?

well the nucular submarines test right by the lake and i think they where running thier equpment. a few years ago they came into the puget sound and wiped out everyones phonelines for a few hours and blamed it on the phone companies. ever since then i think all odd things that happen around here are caused by them.

i may be wrong... but i doubt it.

Whoa! thats really freaking weird with the whole subs thing. bummer for them!

Id put a spring on my engines, just so if the servo loses power the spring will shut it off. Cheap too, you can get a throttle return spring for like 3$

Phil ;) :p :)

return springs burnout servo motors. the servo isnt really the problem it is when you are getting ready to run the final and you realize your servo burnt out last race and you have no throttle :( and there goes your win

Yeah I suppose its a possiblity, just about every on road nitro vehicle has one, I just figred it could be used for marine stuff too.

Phil  ;) <_<

MPI makes an excellent fail safe a lot cheaper than Futaba. The last tro radio modles from Futaba have failsafe built into the radios. But I still use the MPI units. Been too lazy to set up the radios. (will save you money). I been using the MPI units for over ten years with no problems.

Ofan makes a tiny failsafe, i think its real cheap too, sorry, I dont know a link for it though.
