I used to till I hit a wave once and went into the water and my head was some place between my legs... got bent like a pretzel... never again..... Man did my neck and back kill... How long of a roost does a boat like that throw???? Cause thats almost as long as the tow ropes... They are nuts, lets see there helmet cams!!!!!!!

This is speedskying......On the pro ski tour they have in the USA the use other boats so their spray is minimal, and the ropes are not so long, at least not in the end, otherwise the skiers are not able to run at 36mph and at 43 off on the rope.....

But I must say, at this speed the water is like rock when you fall.

Here's a short clip of my brother punting his modified single engine outboard down the the river at this years Southern 80 Ski Race held here in Australia.

Cool shot Greg - I hear ya on the crashes, just dont seem to bounce back like I used too ;)

I agree. Been skiing for many years and it's getting harder and harder to bounce back from a hard fall. Heck it's just getting harder to do it period. Not as young as I used to be but still going at it. Never tried speed skiing but still enjoy slalom.
