Gents:

Just looking to see if there is any interest in "cloned" out of production Nitro pipes. These would be exact one piece duplicates made by a fellow enthusiast , that is also a tier two supplier to the auto industry. The equipment used to make these pipes is production equipment for his real business, these will be terrific quality, and probaly priced around $70.-$75.00 each. Just trying to get an idea on demand before he spends any cash on tooling for each design. Also looking at producing the most desired pipe first. My initial thoughts were:

Muck 13cc pipe

.21 Irwin Short Pipe

OPS3280

post here or let me know by email if any interest, or other suggestion.. [email protected]

Thanks Tony J

Hey Tony,

Yup,

I think the S pipe is on a few peoples Christmas list. :D

I understand that the 3280 will still be made by OPS. I think they were moving into a new facility,so the prodution was just paused.

2 weeks ago I bought a new 3280 from Lenny @ Rum Racing.

yes,

and i am not sure if it is out of production but a rossi 65 pipe would be nice.

Yes, you betcha, git 'er done, however you want to say it! Besides, "Tiny" Wood owes me a 3280.

Shame on me for asking, but any chance of cloning the CMB 67/80 "fat" pipe out of something other than bend-oleum.

Great idea, Tony

Tony, I would be interested in an outboard pipe as well . Even if it's not assembled I could take care of that maybe parts to make a OB pipe . Halves or something .

Thanks

Ed

Hey Joe,

I have a Rossi 65 pipe in good shape if you need a proto.

OH... BTW Tony

What about the old K&B "Potato Masher" I woulden't mind getting a pair of those. They were "Killer" with the right application. I think at the time the engines were not ready for the concept and neither were we... they sere sooooo QUIET most of us couldn't relate. Perhaps the right vol/length in a newly reworked range of pipes is worth looking at.

Thanks for the replies obviously there is no clear consensus, and this really "muddies the water' Can someone take a pic of a mint 65 rossi pipe and some key dimensions for me. Thanks Tony J
