antena location

Hi guys...newbie here again. How do you have your antenna positioned? I have a P3MX Futaba in a gas scale hydro. Would I have it inside or outside where it could get wet?

Wet wouldnt hurt the antenna. Just run it vertical inside the cowl or up a tube. i ranmy gas scale and got some failsafe shutdown at the ends of the lake I just set the antenna a bit higher.

I have been running a 2.4 FASST system for two years. My antennas have stayed in the radio box on all three boats, no problems!

I have been doing this for a number of years also an have had no problems at all

Except for that one time when you were testing my good tunnel prop...........

True... But I believe that was a battery issue rather than a radio failure...

It sucks how things like that always happen when you have something of someone elses on your boat..
