This boat looks exactly like what I ran in the late 80's. I ran it as a surface drive. Does the top of the deck have Metal flake paint under that Blue/purple color(Whatever it is)? Can't remember the name of the boat off the tip of my tounge - though. I bought one like it new from one of the Hobby shops up in Duluth Mn. It's not a Muck boat - maybe??

I think it is a Steve Muck's Spartan. The strakes and the swept sheer line certainly look like it.

I think your right!!! Steve Muck Spartan. Spartan was the name I was trying to forget??? Or Remember??

Pipe is definitely and Irwin muffled pipe.
Huh.... jk he used to have a ops in it and that thing was unbelievable as far as ear piercing decibles!!!!

Thanks guys for the info, believe it or not it handle great before and was pretty damn fast but the ops was hard to get parts for... so you hes going to try Rodneys GO in it!!!

Anyone have a prop recommendation? ???

Yup, it's a Jim Irwin pipe. Tell your buddy to rotate it 180 degrees so that the exhaust stinger is at the bottom. That will help to get any excess oil out of the pipe.

Hi kroggs The hull looks like an old 21 Youngblood..I haven't seen one of those since the early 90s..And the pipe is an Erwin..

Thanks guys for all the help and recommendations! !! Hope to get some videos of it soon!!! Thanks Kevin ...

I had one of those back when too. Yes they were around the Minnesota area and could have been Duluth but they were called splash due to someone either copied another boat. Very fast and we ran OPS 45's and I think it was just the stock OPS pipes with tab and turn fins. and it was a surface drive. I will have to see if I have any pictures and if I can find what prop we used on them.

definitely a Steve Muck, Streaker mono hull. I can tell by the extended (fiberglass) flange around the perimeter where the deck is joined to the hull. Also the hardware kit shown is Steve Muck.

anyone have an old tower hobby catolog from early 80's they sold steve muck hulls.. found it Steve Muck Super Streaker mid 80's the power of the web..lol
