Hi PnB

You might get this but it's gunna cost you - I bid earlier and made him an offer but he wants to let the auction run, as is his right. This would be wasted on a hotshot but I wish you luck.

The hotshot is a little on the small side for a motor of this sort of performance. I don't think Gary meant anything nasty in his comment - it's not in his nature B)

Hi PnB,

I too know Gary and agree with TimD, nothing nasty meant and it's not in Gary's nature.

I don't know how long you've been into RC boats, but I personally am very new to it and own a hotshot myself. After several months and with some assistance from Gary and Kris Flynn finally got it to do several complete laps. I also balanced the hull recently after some suggestions from IW board members...thankyou everyone.

I guess the point I'm trying to make is that I run a standard 3.5 K&B on my hotshot, and being new to the sport, I reckon it flies, as I still need to hone my driving skills, if I had a faster motor, this would only make things harder.

Just my 2 cents worth anyway.

Good luck either way and enjoy the sport......tunnel boating rules.

I figured you guys were all cool, thats why I posted here.

I have had the boat for close to 20 years and never got it wet.

In the mean time I bought a real boat and won a few championships up here in the "great white north".

I know the driving skill won't be the same but I think I will do all right.

Mine is the slightly larger Hot shot at 27 in.

Thanks for the tips and keep them comming EH!

All B. S. aside the motor and drive was on a wooden hull Hot Shot. I never could get the hang of driving a tunnel. Then again there are peolpe that tell me I can't drive my monos either but, I don't listen very well either. :( :(
