Ahhh yes the good 'ol US Postal Service. While I still prefer to use them for small packages some of the stuff they do amazes me. I bought a motor from Matt Murany, it was shipped Priority Mail and he gave me the tracking number. The package was accepted into their possession at 10:39am July 30th in Fenton Michigan with a delivery date here in Mechanicsville showing for the 1st. It traveled to Allen Park Michigan but from there went up to Nashua New Hampshire then down to Raleigh North Carolina and then back up to Richmond Virginia (15 minutes away) and finally shows out for delivery today almost 5 days later. So while I wonder how much money they lost just on that one package it's no wonder how they lose billions annually. And this is the same government that wants to run a national heath care system??

Hate to say it Don, The U.S.P.S. is probably one of the best run Govt. agencies. Military may be the most wasteful. As far as Govt. run health care is concerned- get the best health care plan you can afford and KEEP it when you retire. Obummercare will be a red tape nightmare.

Dunno bout em guy's

Now their great idea to save some is to cancel home delivery,

And have group boxes at a central location.........

Fine in the city, But what about rural ?

Gene

We got another year and they are closing the local sorting center, with everything sorting thru KC......

Adding two days to current delivery and is halfway upstate north, Back to what Don was say'n,

Maybe they need a road map

I had a tirad of stuff I wrote. however I deleted it. Waste of time, plus if I say something negative about the Regime and its officers I could get in big trouble.

"They" are watching.. :)

Not sure about free speech anymore. Seems if the prez. wants something changed it sorta happens. The man wants to know everything about the people.

Yes he wants to know all about us what about us knowing about him and where he was born sure wasnt here Robert

Just about had it with UPS too, Shipping a 45 size mono from Sacramento CA to Miami FL. Box, bubble wrap, tape, shipping and Ins=$90. Checked the tracking # yesterday and the boat was in San Pablo, CA- about a hundred miles further west from where I dropped it off  . Also found out nothing moves between Fri afternoon and Mon. afternoon. Take a boat in Monday and it will likely get all of Saturdays stuff piled in on top of it.
