The extra strut is like a kick stand. No need for a boat stand. Just set on table and the strut keeps the prop from digging in. LOL

That K&B was the first motor I ran 16 years ago. It blew up on the starting stand because the exhaust throttle hung wide open as soon as the motor fired. I think I paid $40.00 for it new. About $39.00 too much.

That is not a kick stand. That is a prop guard. They require those in Florida you know........in case you run over a manatee.

The hull looks like a PILOT brand hydro from about early eighties vintage. Would probably make a reasonable sport 20 hull. I think the engine is in the for balast as it would be around 1975-78 vintage. Might make a fun project if you got it cheap enough.

The extra strut - maybe something like a winged keel for stability.

I saw that. Very interesting, especially the horizon sensor that controls the jet vane. At over 5 feet in length I do see it getting shipped over here for less than a small fortune........
