hi gang, just got in from the race and have to say it was one of the most enjoyable races that if have seen in a long time(minus CMB) fall nats! the club did a fantastic job of the site and hats of to Mike(MUDBUG) henric who did a masterfull C/D job. 99 HEATS in ONE DAY!! and keeped everyone in line and the racing was Smooth and Fun!! Twins were great and FAASSSTT!! congrats to my boy 'BUCKSHOT" and his new ride for the win in the shoot out,but the rest of the feild was rediculusly fast and competition was spectacular and the sportsmanship between the drivers was top notch!! if the fall race is as great as this one was, make plans to get in on the fun!! caught up with some old friends and made a bunch of new ones, that is what i have always loved about this hobby,it just keeps getting better! mikie. :D

Dave,

No My head is the same size........... But Buck earned That Spot...

He Started Saturday running his heats very well with the gas jag and the twin jag he did a stand up job. Hitting the interview table just about every heat. Then came sunday the Gas jag got called over once and broke a rudder servo so that took him down to 4th place. But the boat ran very well for a gas. Then last heat with the twin saturday he bent the rudder blade and broke a boom tube when the big pig cartwheeled across the water. Then the next heat sunday morning the twin told him there was more out of adjustment he worked thru it and the boat ran well the last heat to win the shoot out the boat had some bad damage though at the end of it..But he represented the jags top notch thats what im proud of . I know he is very pleased

how the boats ran and his achievements.............................WAY TO GO BUCKSHOT..............Bob

Buckshot really had his twin working well. The 101"s really stepped the performance up. There is a picture the fine people of METIME that took a great picture of Buckshot and my boat at a start of the heat. I am in front of him on the start but the 101"s pulled me down the straightaway to the first bouy. Buckshot and myself each bought a picture from METIME. Maybe METIME can post the picture here.

Was it the 101's, or what the 101's were in?????

Buck, I will be in Evansville with my New Style Roadrunner Twin RS101 in June.. The VAC TWIN is for F class races. I found the problem in the boat. & Finally got it running the 4th round of twin... It took a needle & a tank to resolve the problems...... I hit sometihng late friday @ Practice & kicked the rudder back, & Ate a 6.7 prop.... then proceed to hit a buoy trying to bring it back in. This may have started my tank Issue... But I need to check the fuel capacity it is real close for that older boat with the new engines. The vac`s motors seem to like Small pipes in the cooler weather. Come to Evansville in June to race with us....... B)

It was both Steve. My boat has 91's at this time and the 101's turn more RPM's. Plus Buckshot's boat allow the motors not to work at all. When he pulled the hammer it was like the boat was shot out of a cannon. I know what to do to step up and will be ready next time.

Was it the 101's, or what the 101's were in?????
