You're lucky, it could have been worse. The Puget Sound basin had a 7+ that did all kinds of damage. Bad part was I was driving an overloaded Dodge cargo van and never felt a thing. Got a call from my dispatcher telling me to get back to the shop, less an hour away. Due to the panic in the streets, took me over three times that to get back to the shop and another two to get home

Guy's it was rocking at my house at 7.1 a lot of broken glass and stuff off the shelves.

The actual first readings were 7.3. the earthquake center averages for the time period. Yea Charlies Birthday!!!
