I thought I remember a post on this but I'll ask again. Can the third channel adjument be changed from an all or nothing movement to a linear movement? Can I move the location of the third channel from the lever next to the wheel to the adjuster on top?

Thanks,

Charley

Charlie,

The only way I was able to operate mine as a "true 3rd channel" was to open up the adjustment mode on the digital read out. Once that is open your thumb should be able to reach the left/right adjustment thus moving the needle fast enough to lean and richen as needed. So your basically bypassing the remote switch and using the adjustment screen on the left side.

I see... Use the +- buttons to operate it instead of the switch, once you have the adjustment on the screen... Ok... I'll give it a shot.. Thanks..

You said yourself yesterday that the the 3rd channel was key!! If it's already on the boat, why not figure out how to use it... UGH.. .Sheesh..

Thanks for your help on the skeg.. It's better than ever!!

I know... G has been beating the heck out of me in emails to leave the darn thing alone..lol...

Did I mention I'm stubborn?

Ok.. Hope to see you at the Oshkosh race.

Hey Rodney,

Can you turn down the steering rate on the MX-3? I got the radio second hand so I don't have an instruction manual.. My ham-fisted driving style does not suit my boat.. I hope by turning down the steering response, it will help smooth me out..

Grim.. Yes, sir...Tell Big B I think I will have that OPS with me..

Thanks,

Charley

Charley,

I looked for my old instruction book but couldn't find it. I sold my MX-3 and can't recall how to do it. Is there an ST rate on the digital display?? That should reduce the throw of the steering.
