Actually it is Jeff, Jay & Max in the pic. That drone was so cool. A professional photo drone. When it took off and the landing gear and all the rotors moved up and spread out it looked like a Star Wars fighter. Can't wait to see the videos it took.

Look at the demo video's on this site.

I have the bug and will probably get a drone before too long myself. Not sure I can justify the DJI Inspire he had for 3 grand but they make a smaller $1200 Phantom version with the same flight control system. Was a really neat piece of equipment.

Beautiful race site for Huntsville!!!! Congrats guys!!!

Mic,

Yes, its amazing what they are doing with quads now. I am looking at the Phantom as well Mic with the 4k camera. Images and video are incredible.

Mic...I have been flying my Phantom 3 for about 3 months now....really amazing quad copter. Super stable video and a great flyer, it is pretty easy to fly also. I use it for Real Estate pics and have flown it in some pretty tight areas. Get one...it's a blast.

Hats off to all the Huntsville guys to get this site prepped quickly........

Hats off to Joel Mertz. Very Nice Work Sir....... Bill you Huntsville Guys done a Great job getting that place ready on short notice........ Looks Great!!!!!!!

Thanks Joe it's only the 1st phase and the City of Huntsville are the ones that did the bulk of the heavy work. The engineer that did our surveys was and out at the lake with us almost all day Friday and Saturday. We can hardly wait for the spring when they are going to start on the drivers stand, 2 pavillions, hard parking, and electric power.
