After seeing this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kyHgDF3uCys&feature=mfu_in_order&list=UL I think i need to strengthen mine. Alot of power in a 2028  Id cuss that hull manufacturer out, but it was probably more power than the hull was designed for With fe I dont know why its all about light light light coz the motors make incredible torque. They will make a 20 pound boat do wheelies .I was thinking about a single rail down the middle that goes over the motor encompasses the drive line; then anchor an aluminium I beam down its length. You could cut some triangles in the wooden rail. Or maybe make a wooden anchor down the keel then cnc a convex beam with triangles. How would you do it?

PS that soccer guy in the other youtube link man! Im not the one to ususally bust balls but I have to agree he wouldnt get my most handsome man award either lol. Wooo predator lol.

Dont know terry. Id imagine they were. He runs on ose so I really dont know. Make A wake

IDK call me crazy but that thing looked insanely heavy.... now lets talk mass in motion.... when that hull stuffed like that at that speed,, equate the energy of that wieght moving at that speed... bet it was as much or maybe more than a sledge hammer blow.especially if somthing was loose inside the hull like terry stated....On top of all that energy the hull looks very thin for the length of it.....

im highly doubting that it was a torque overkill that smoked that hull.....that hull would roll it self over when jabbing the throttle if the torque was too great...

as far as the stringer system you are talking about making,, just be sure to try to some how join the stringers to the deck or the same seperation can occur...
