AC Model Boats

A friend who is new to boating and not involved in any forums yet asked me about AC Model Boats. He had been lookiing into them and heard that they have a new owner. Can anyone identify the new oowner and give me some info as to how my friend can contact him? He is interested in the AC R42 cat, if it is still available.

Well the web site is operating and tried to call but no answer...not sure if it is in the US or Canada...but the r42 is offered...

Just an update....i just spoke to Wayne...he is in florida just north of Orlando....he and one other purchaced A.C. boats and is still producing them...as of this post he is about 6 weeks out...the R42 Now comes with fiberglass rails and transom...no wood to worry about...and Wayne does this as his full time business....his phone is (321)-231-2898..and he takes all his calls....

Wayne is using the AC Model Boats site for those hulls. The Venom CC is for his line. I hope that he went with the fiberglass rails and carbon fiber transom doubler like he does with his.

Ron, I lay up my own rails and transoms out of fiberglass. I don't use carbon fiber.
