Can someone tell me what is the difference between new ABC props and old H props, for example H-10 and 1816 are allmost the same dia and pitch, is there anything else that is different? I'm primerely interested in .20 hydro props.

Frank,

The shape is totally different to the H series. I just got one of the 2518's and it looks wild!

Frank,

I have just measured two of each of these propellers and here are the differences.

H-10-diameter is 44.00mm to 44.50mm they vary a little,1.752" actual

pitch is 76mm or 2.992"

cup is between 3.6" and 3.46" Trailing edge,Actual Measured

stock cup stated is 3.0"

1816-diameter is 45.51mm or 1.791" actual

pitch is 75.59mm or 2.975"

cup is 4.50" to 4.29" Trailing edge, Actual Measured

So you can see that the 1816 is a little bigger in size and the H-10 has a little bit

more pitch. The 1816 also has quite a bit more cup at the trailing edge than the

H-10. The blade profiles are way different and so is the trailing edge of the prop.

Hope this helps Frank. :)

Thanks,

Mark Sholund
