Any recent race results for people running the AA 45?

Al Hobbs won 45 Hydro @ the 2012 NAMBA nats with the AA 45. He also got 5th @ Hobart. Not bad considering the competition that was there.

Check this link to the time trials last weekend in Flint. Terry posted video of Matt Murany's JAE with a stock A/A in it running 80mph in heat race trim. It was impressive.

A member of our NLMBC has one in a Roadrunner that runs very well, no problems so far.

We pushed this little motor very hard this season and it's taken everything we have thrown at it with ease .

The only issue we had was with the drum housing coming loose .

We pitched the brass clamps , Frank Orlic made a split ring added longer screws and never had that problem again .

People running the AA45 have been well in Sport 40 and Mono events as well.

Hobart was difficult for almost all the hydro classes as the wind was strong and the water rough much of the time.

Not to get to far off topic but what pipe is working best for the AA ?

We've had good luck with the OPS 67 pipe .

I run the A/A 45 parabolic pipe from Al. I havent tried any other pipe.

AB45 black pipe on my eagle.....and the macs 10cc aero nitro pipe on the Mutt sport 40 is what I used.
