I have 3 .21 K&B outboards and all most had a disaster in the motor I normaly run. Since my cousin
recked his boat 30 seconds after he put in the water he wanted me to run his SS. Since I had my motor
off and its been a few runs since the internials were looked at I decided to check. When I pulled off
the top half with the crank the bushing for the connecting rod came off then I noticed the end of the
rod was cracked. I think this could have probably caused a little damage.
Throught all that I have a prop question. I currently have a prather 215 on a K&B 3.5 with a Irwin
quite pipe is a octura x440 a better prop for this situation since I don't get the rpm's on a full tank
of fuel? It the best with a 3/4 on down. I now the prather has more pitch and dia.
