I am proud of Dad.. We built my first boat,a Dumas Pay n Pak back in like 78 or so... Had a fox .21 with a kool klamp on it.. got it to run pretty good, then he bought one too and a B/N K&B .21 Marine engine..he was going to beat me up with it...LOL.. I had a 72 Chevelle at the time doing restoration on it and dad never finished it.. as a teen I got interested in girls... and other shady things... we drifted apart,I got a kid and a half then got married, finished having kid #2..lol we had a couple more kids (boy,girl,girl,boy..)before we figured out how to stop that from happening again..lol.. I finally had it out with dad and we started getting along again... He also belonged to a put-put boat club, but his buddies didnt like my loud, smokey wave makers.. they would pull their boats out when I threw the SKI-VEE with a .45outboard or the new Pay N Pak in and stand there and scowl while i played... dad just chuckled and went about his business..lol.. so I was outlawed and ran boats by myself for a few years before I got bored of being the only one playing.. then he got sick and didnt do much flying or boating in his last few years... still built some beautiful stuff tho!! I kept a slipper launch and finished the decking (mahogany) and the radio etc... and it came out sweet!! I also have a fishing boat to finish he started and a PT-109
