A-90s A-100s

I have just receive a fresh order of Russian "A" motors. In this batch are A-90HPs, A90LS and A-100s, The A-90HP was raced by Mark Anderson this last weekend with very impressive results. Mark will be evaluating all the "A" motors and these results will be included on my web site in the coming weeks, www.cwiinc.com/engines. The engine was installed in a Eagle SG and was bone stock, Due to time constraints this motor had little to no breakin but the engine performed flawlessly, showing excellent power and bags of torque, " Very Very Impressive!". Anyone racing one of these motors will be definately running up front this season!

As Mike said, I put a stock A90 in my S.G. with a Macs 15cc airplane pipe for our last race. Due to technical difficulties on my part I did not test the boat, only fired it once in the pits. The engine was very easy to tune on 45% home brew. It ran very well from the time we put it in the water, and by the third heat it was running very respectably pulling 1667 that was pitched pretty heavily and reving quite well. It definitly wanted more prop as I could drop it off plane and it would accelerate instantly. We will be testing this weekend at the first Dist 8 race. The motor is already running faster than the motor it replaced that finished second at the NAMBA Nats.
