90’s Bandit 48” Tunnel Project

Hi All,

This tunnel boat was designed to run with a K&B 13cc outboard. My plan is to rig the boat with 30.5cc gas outboard, with the possibility of racing it.

I’ve been out of the sport for some time and would like to get your thought my project plan……

Move the 21oz. fuel tank forward 2”, old tank centered at 11” ahead of transom ???

Mount outdrive so prop shaft to center bottom of sponson ???

Reinforce transom to support gas outboard

Plan to use….

30.5cc powerhead

Lawless outdrive

Hitec servo with gearbox

2500ma 6v battery

Quickdraw outboard hot pipe
