I've been looking over the plans and have some questions regarding the sponson running surfaces and center section offset. Are the sponson running surfaces already mirrored from the full scale boat for running clockwise? The plans show the center section offset to the Port side as is the full scale boat. When the engine is offset in a design such as this is the strut offset also, or placed on the centerline of the hull and the drive shaft run at an angle?

Just build the sponsons as drawn and you will be fine. As far as the offset goes, you need to leave the strut on the centerline. You can, if you wish, offset the engine bay to the right and either center the engine in the bay or offset it toward the center of the boat. Either way is doable with a flex shaft and will work fine
