80 Bud back up boat

I've got my 80 Bud back up boat (originally the 72 Notre Dame) just about finished and am getting ready to order graphics. On the photos I got from David Newton there is a graphic on the cowling just in font of the engine that says,

THIS RACE FOR DEAN

BUDWEISER CREW

The photos were all taken on Lake Washington by Roger. Anybody know who drove that boat for the Seattle race?

Hydro's Who's Who shows two drivers for the U-12 in 1980 Dean Chenoweth, and Ron Snyder. CHEERS !!! Bob

I would have to guess that it was Snyder given the sign.

Gold Dupont Chroma Base #11169K ALT 1 National Fleet Color

Red Chroma Base #29198K Alt 2 National Fleet Color

White Standard Mixing

Black Standard Mixing

And if I were member correctly the backup a boat qualified in Seattle with Ron Snyder. However, having not been run in some time the boat experienced a number of leaks and did not race.

When they went to San Diego Dean Chenoweth was back in the cockpit.
