Re:7.5 Savage Tunnel Hull

I passed that listing up on e-bay since I didn't or never heard of a "savage" tunnel before.

Re:7.5 Savage Tunnel Hull

It is not Van Horton tunnel. I bought this hull new about 5 or 6 years ago at a race in Conroe,Tx. Yes, they do look similar. The first thing I thought to myself when I saw a picture of the Van Horton tunnel was "That looks just like my Savage tunnel!" Go figure!?!? ??? ???

Re:7.5 Savage Tunnel Hull

In your defense, I have a pic of a hornet, and it looks like the tip of the cowl reaches out further forward, towards the tips of the sponsons. Yours is shorter.

Can you tell us who manufactured it?

Re:7.5 Savage Tunnel Hull

I will have to dig up the instruction booklet that came with it. I would like know who built it, also.

Re:7.5 Savage Tunnel Hull

Hey Gang,

Carl did build a tunnel called a "savage" it was a generation before the Hornet. One of the guys in our group ran one. Nice tunnel.
