I have a Roadrunner U/L with a CMB 67. I was trying to run it to day with no luck.

The back of the boat just hops and trys to drive the sponsons under water. the only props that I have for it are H38 / H32 and a 1667. I put the boat on a board and the AOA is about 4 1/2 deg the strut is even with the rear sponsons with about 1 deg neg. That's were I started and I was all over the strut and no matter where I set it it's the same problem.

any help with this would be appreciated.

Thanks

Terry

Roadrunners do not like negative in the strut! Go to the Marty Davis tech article on Roadrunner set up and it should get you where you need to be- http://rcboat.com/setup.htm

Thanks Don

I'll give that a try.

Try 3deg AOA on the front sponsons, level the strut and start raising it. You will start getting rid of the hop when raising it and when it gets hard to launch, lower it back down a bit. The H-32 is a great prop for the RR 67.
