.67 road runner rigger

hey all i am very new to riggers i just picked up a road runner rigger .67 and it has a andy brown moded mac .67 in it new but i am cunfused it has no needel for the carb does it need one or what please help and if any one knows where i can get a new cawl for i would be thank full please help

Mac engine dont come with a needle,

use either an os or cmdi needle

They are a little past middway down the page. You would want the course needle, they are great 3rd channel needles. Its the same one that Andy sells.

The CMDi/Kalistratov needle that James speaks of is a very good needle. The only drawback is with the outlet on the bottom it requires it to be far enough off of the tub floor so the fuel line does not get kinked & this typically means cutting a hole on your cowling on riggers. If you want something far more compact & just as accurate the needle base I sell that incorporates the OS "in flight" 3rd channel needle will work nicely. Send me a p/m if you are interested. B)

ditto for me on don's needles. whichever one you choose, match fuel flow to needle taper. on don's, in the top, out the bottom. this is what don told me when i got mine-just for grins, i hooked it up backwards (after dialing it in hooked up correctly), it DOES make a difference.

well guys thx for the info i think i may just sale the road runner as i think it is way to much for me at this time i have a hawk 7.5 that just runs great and i tell you my legs shake every time i run it lmao but if any one is interested in it let me know to complete the road runner you will need as follows 3 channel needle prop could use a new cowl Rx and TX and maybe some odds and ends but not sure i took it apart to paint it as she has never seen the water and it will also need a pipe and mount the motor is a modded Andy brown mac .67 silver head
