Thanks for the reply to my questions. <_< <_< <_<

SO much for replying to inquiries in order received. I would like to know what I am buying before I say I will take it, and then back out when it is not what I thought was described. In the future I will be sure to commit to buy, and then decide if I want it......................

I guess I really wasn't a serious buyer, I just needed the pics to add to my collection. Come on! Ettiquette says you should answer the questions of the first respondent. If you don't have pics, fine; just say so and answer the questions. There is no doubt that the engine would sell to either me or to nitrotwin. It is a slap in the face to skip over my response to sell it to the next guy. He even said that if I didn't want it, he would take it. The sale was a forgone conclusion, it was just who would get it.

Whether I need it or not is not the point. I like to know what I am buying, I've been bitten before and try to minimize the risk of a bad deal. I purchased 8 OB's for over $1000 once, but 4 of them were gutted with no P/S, rods, or bearings. Two of the others were trash. $1000 for 8 engines is a deal, $1000 for 2 engines and a box of worn out parts was not so good a deal.

I'm glad to know that you deal this way; good info to have. I can only hope that I have something for sale some day that you may want, so I can return the favor. Here's a hint, don't bother bidding, your money is no good with me.

Good luck nitrotwin, I hope it works for you.

I have to agree with Doug. If I had something for sale and someone says "I'll take it". It's a sale. A bird in the hand is better then two in the bush... COD
