I am looking for 3/16 and 5/32 5 ply birch. I bought some years ago from Balsa USA when they still carried plywood. I prefer 5-ply because they are much stronger. I even have some left over 3/32 ply that is 5 ply.

Bought a sheet of Midwest 3/16" ply from my LHS. They are 4 ply and not the same.

I checked Aircraft spruce and Tower but could not find the 5-ply wood anymore. ANyone know of a source?

Thanks,

kez

Thanks guys for your replies. National Balsa did not specify the number of ply. I will give the a call tomorrow. I did not see plywood in Wicks aircraft supplies' web page. And yes I see Balsa USA still carries plywood. They still list the 1/8" 5 ply. However, the 3/16" ply is now 4 ply. I will order a couple of sheets of the 5 ply 1/8" birch. It is a lot stronger than the 3 ply

Wick's Aircraft has 3/16th 5ply...I just looked. Best plywood I have ever seen & all my boats are built with this great wood.
