I plan on doing some pipe testing in a few weeks and would like to have all the bracketry ready to go so I can do a reasonably quick and simple swap at the pond. Got 3 different pipes to test in 1 day.

Soooooo, I need to know an approximate length for the Parabolic pipe, on a 2010 Picco 45 in a 4 point rigger.

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Tim

Tim,

i have been playing with one a little at 9 inches and could go shorter, even with this horribly hot humid weather..thats in my jae 45 with picco and AA engines..

Tim,

I have run a parabolic on a Picco (black and new 2009 blue) anywhere from 8.5" to 9.5". How short they run depends on how the weather is at the time. I end up very close to 9" often. If you want a big prop to swing you must go longer for the torque needed.

I run it@ 8-3/8. Blackhead,.012 head,50 percent Grim Racer fuel,1457/1657 prop on a Crapshooter.Very launchable and mills fine.
