Good deal on the SGX-2 Mike.

Some guys have had problems with the X-2, because the set-up is different than the SGX they may have been familiar with.

Most important is to set the top of the tub perfectly level to the surface with the sponsons and strut setting on the surface.

This will put the rears a big distance off the surface. Use about 1.5 to 2.0 degrees fo shaft angle.

DO NOT try to raise the strut to facilitate pulling a bigger prop. The X-2 will run fast in race water with a smaller prop. You won't pull a 1657 with the VAC like many others are... and you won't need to.

I raced an AA 45 powered X-2 with a cut down H-22 last week. Was the fastest boat at the race. It is a very SMOOTH running boat on race water.
