I bought a 80% build kit to replace my old hydro that I bought used. Can anyone help me with a picture of the rear sponsons and winglets and how and where they are to be installed. I have not been able to contact CMI for help.

I raced a 45SGX and I think I still have the complete assembly manual for it at home, I'll have to look. If I do and you can wait a few days I'll be more than happy to mail it to you. B)

The sponsons go on square and parallel on the bottom of the boat. I can measure mine this evening for wing placement if you like if it is an SGX. If it is an SGX-2 I can send you the wing dimensions.

Which version do you have? SGX or SGX-2

It is the SGX-2 model. the directions talk about it, but the pictures show the older model. They we're supose to send me updated directions.

h34r: :huh: I don't hear new 45 SGX-2 When did you get it from CMDI? Andy told me that he said improve better much stable and less drag only 90 SGX-2 thats all

Thank You so much, as I was at a stopping point. From what I understand, Andy is having some personal problems and very hard to get ahold of, and family must come first. This let me continue on with the build.
