I am thinking heavily about building a new Seaducer with a 101. What hull does everyone prefer, Carbon or Kevlar? Thanks alot.

Carbon is a Great choice..... Built to the exact mfg inst for a Race Winning Boat..... With X467 octura prop.

Carbon is my preference. I run a 101 with andy's Billet 90/100 pipe. Very solid running boat.

Anyone else? And what pipe have you found to be the hot setup with the 101?
Mac`s 15cc pipe Open nitro pipe @ 11 1/2 from plug to the middle of the flat band. Mark Sholund X467-X470 modified for RS101. 70 plus mph heat racing boat

Why do you prefer carbon hull?

You are aware of that carbon dust is hazzardous and can cause cancer?

I rather build fibreglass boats if I can keep my healt a few years more.

Got news for ya, fiberglass dust is just as hazardous. The "glass" in fiberglass is the same as used in common everyday windows and glassware. Molten glass is extruded through very small openings creating fine fiber threads (hence the term fiberglass) which are woven together to form cloth. Fiberglass dust is very irritating to the lungs and breathing it can create permanent scarring in lung tissue. It is also extremely damaging to the eyes.

All dust is bad, but compared to carbon dust, fiberglass is considered as a health product.

If you get carbon fiber (dust) inside your body, it will stay there for the rest of your life.
