This is an old boat I ran for while it was very fast and turned great but would blow off easy.

It was so abused it started to crack and split on the sides and bottoms.

I plan to give it the new bottom to make it stay on the water and widen the engine well to 5 inches.

I have cut out the engine well and found a 1/4 ply bottom under it so I cut out the whole bottom.

Made the bottom flatter and now have to redo the engine well sides. then I will get the cowl widened to 5 inches to fit the hull.

More to come after I get the ply for the engine well and do some work on the sponson pads.

Found the original builder logo under the paint in the engine well. It was J& S boats, build date 2-21-95 I am pretty sure they were in MI.
